Three New Works Open New York City Ballet's Fall Season

New York City Ballet's Fall Fashion Gala gave the city three world premieres, three ballets seen in public for the first time that night. A ballet company doesn't stage something new often, and three in one evening is a real investment in new work. Stevie Nicks and Sarah Jessica Parker were in the audience at the autumn gala, which remains one of the main nights on the New York social calendar.
