Ugg has teamed up with JW Anderson, and the pairing borrows from the loafer for two of the label's best-known shoes, the Classic Boot and the Tasman. That gives the archive something new to file: a shearling icon dressed up with a bit of loafer polish. The idea makes sense well beyond any one coast, from a cold morning in Aspen to the softer weather of a Naples weekend, because both shoes have always been made to be worn and not just looked at.
