A Smaller Aquila Sport, Built to Run in the Mid-Forties
Aquila has added a 35 Sport to its lineup, a compact sibling to the 45 Sport that borrows the larger boat's lines and proportions. The builder has drawn the new model so that the family resemblance is plain from the dock, with the same character the 45 brought to the range now carried on a shorter hull. Below the styling, the deck is arranged for company rather than for a crew of one, with seating and open space laid out so guests gather together instead of spreading out. Aquila says the boat will top out close to 45 knots, which puts a day run across Biscayne Bay or up the Intracoastal well within an afternoon. For a Florida owner who liked the 45 Sport but wanted something easier to handle and slip, this is the boat that question was waiting on.
