Raymarine's CAM400 Puts the Hidden Corners of the Boat on the Helm Screen

· 1 min read

Raymarine has a new small marine camera, the CAM400. It's a networked unit that sends sharp video to the helm, so the person at the wheel can see parts of the boat they can't see from the seat: the stern platform where swimmers climb back aboard, the open deck, and the angles that disappear behind a superstructure. Owners who run their own boats from Palm Beach down to Naples know how often those moments come up, whether it's backing into a slip or bringing guests in from the water. The announcement is about a better view from the helm, and it doesn't mention price.

With reporting from Yachting.
