A Tiz the Law Filly Takes the Spinster, and Her Second Way Into the Distaff

· 1 min read

After scratches, only three horses went to the post for the Grade I Juddmonte Spinster Stakes, and every one of them had already won at the Grade I level. Fully Subscribed, a daughter of Tiz the Law, beat the other two decisively. The win gives her a second qualifying berth in the Grade I Distaff. A three-horse field doesn't happen often in a race of this rank, and here each of the three had earned her place, so the result came down to quality more than numbers.

With reporting from Thoroughbred Daily News.
