The American SetThe Second-Quarter Numbers on Horse Welfare Are Now Public
Anyone who cares about how racing protects its horses can now read the record for themselves. The Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit has published its statistics for April through June of 2026 on its own website, under the title "HIWU ADMC Program Statistics: Q2 2026." The figures were not handed out to a few people in private. They were posted where an owner, a trainer, a breeder or a fan in the grandstand can find them. A well-run sport keeps its books open, and this quarter's books are open.
