Should the plan hold, the supercharger-fed Hemi would once again sit under a Charger hood. The car would send its power to the back axle. The engine would not be confined to a single shape, either, with the report describing it as available in the two-door Charger and the four-door alike. None of this has been confirmed by Dodge, and the sourcing is leaked documentation rather than an announcement. For owners who have kept their earlier Hellcats in the garage, it is the first concrete sign that the badge has a future beyond the cars already built.
