An Upper West Side Residence Hosts the Neighborhood's Best Dance Floor

· 1 min read

The most spirited room on the Upper West Side this week was not a listing. It was the New Jewish Home, where residents took the floor for an evening dressed up in the style of the 1980s. The dance of choice was the Electric Slide, done in lines, the way it was meant to be. New York Cares, the volunteer organization, put the night together. A building earns its place on a block by what happens inside it, and on this night the address had the whole neighborhood beat.
