SLC's Smaller Hangars Get a New Rent Number. Fifty-Eight Owners Should Budget for It
Salt Lake City International is raising rents on its general aviation hangars. The change reaches 58 tenants, all of them in the airport's T-hangars and shade hangars. That is the open-sided covered rows and the nested single-aircraft units, not the large box hangars. For an owner, hangar rent is a fixed cost that comes due whether the airplane flies that month or not. A change to it belongs on the annual budget sheet next to insurance and the inspection. Tenants in those 58 spaces will want to read the new terms carefully.
