"Jodi" the Nanotyrannus Is the Rarest Guest Any Florida Collection Could Hope to Host
A Nanotyrannus skeleton named Jodi is going to auction, and the price expected for it is about $9 million. The bigger news for anyone who collects seriously is how few there are: only two other skeletons like it are on record anywhere. Palm Beach knows the old masters, Naples knows the value of understatement, and Miami knows whatever came in last week. A specimen with only two peers is a level of scarcity all three would respect. Jodi is a reminder that the most remarkable thing in a room is sometimes not a painting at all.
