The Ferrari That Could Sell for Nearly Six Times Its Sticker
A 2022 Ferrari Daytona SP3 heads to the block on October 31 under the RM Sotheby's banner, and the estimate attached to it runs to $13 million. That is a striking figure for a car that left the factory just four years ago with a starting price of $2.2 million. Ferrari built only 600 of the model, and this particular car is one the company used for its own promotional work rather than one that went straight to a private garage. The arithmetic is what stops a reader cold: a modern Ferrari, barely broken in, valued at a multiple most collectors wait decades to see. Anyone who has watched one of these idle along Worth Avenue, or seen one parked a little too proudly outside a Brickell restaurant, or spotted one easing down Fifth Avenue South in Naples will understand the appeal. Where it ends up after the hammer falls is anyone's guess, but this part of Florida has never lacked for garages with room to spare.
