Automakers Are Running Out of Words Before Florida Runs Out of Driveways
According to Robb Report, carmakers are finding it harder and harder to come up with a good name for a new model. Most of the strong words seem to be on someone's tailgate already. Anyone who has walked a valet line from Palm Beach to Naples knows how much those few letters of chrome have to do: in Miami a name has to sound fast, in Palm Beach it has to sound like it was always there, and in Naples it mostly has to look good parked outside the club. Whoever names the next car has the hardest copywriting job in the business, and we'll be watching to see what they come up with.
