U.S. Distributor Secures Vietnamese Sequel "Sister Sister 3" for North and South American Release
A Vietnamese film series built around women in its central roles is heading to screens on this side of the Pacific. 3388 Films, a specialty distribution company headquartered in the United States, has acquired "Sister Sister 3," the third installment in the franchise, according to Variety Film. The agreement covers rights across the Americas as well as Europe, Australia, Taiwan and Japan. For audiences here, the deal means a title that would otherwise have remained a regional release in Southeast Asia will now have a path to American theaters and viewers. Terms of the arrangement were not detailed in the initial report.
