Skydance Puts DC Comics, Studio Merchandise and Publishing Under One Executive
Skydance, the company created when Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery combined, has brought its book publishing and licensed-goods operations together in a single unit. The group is called Skydance Products & Publishing and is led by Josh Silverman. DC Comics is now part of that unit, as are the consumer-products businesses of Warner Bros. and Paramount. For a Beverly Hills readership whose neighbors work across both studios, the change means comic books, merchandise and publishing that once reported through separate companies now report through the same division. Skydance has not named a location for the group in the account carried by the wire.
