Magic: The Gathering Card to Be Handed Out Only at ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Screenings

Moviegoers who see “Avengers: Doomsday” in a theater will be able to pick up a Magic: The Gathering card that is not being distributed any other way. The card is part of a tie-in between the trading card game and the film’s run in cinemas. The promotion was announced together with the game’s next set built on Marvel characters, which carries the name “Darkhold Destiny.” The set follows earlier Marvel releases from the game. For readers who plan to see the film on a big screen rather than wait for it at home, the card is the added reason to go. Pricing, dates and the terms of the in-theater offer were not part of the initial report.
