Independent Filmmakers Gain Two New Distribution Labels Under One Roof
Blood Sweat Honey, a company that finds, advises and represents filmmakers working outside the studio system, has opened two distribution divisions, Cinema Machine and Graven Image, according to Variety. Cinema Machine will release films in theaters and through digital platforms, the report said. With these divisions, a company that already scouts and represents filmmakers can also bring their work to audiences. For independent filmmakers in Los Angeles and elsewhere, that adds two more routes to the screen.
