Gerwig's Narnia Film Shows Its First Footage, With Aslan and the White Witch on Screen

Director Greta Gerwig released a first look at "Narnia: The Magician's Nephew" on Tuesday. The preview offers audiences their earliest glimpse of the lion Aslan and the White Witch, two figures at the center of the C.S. Lewis novel the picture adapts. The footage marks the first time the public has seen how Gerwig's version of the Lewis story will appear on screen. For the industry that calls this part of Los Angeles County home, the release is a first measure of a large-scale literary adaptation from one of the most closely watched directors working today.
