Formula 1 Viewers at Home Will Hear the U.S. Grand Prix in Dolby Atmos

Apple and Dolby will carry Formula 1 races on Apple TV in Dolby Atmos sound. The change starts with the U.S. Grand Prix. Under the arrangement, Dolby will supply the audio format for Apple's live race coverage. The sound of the cars on track and the activity in the pit lane will both come through in the format. For Beverly Hills residents who follow the sport on Apple TV, the first race with the new sound will be one held in the United States.
