Crunchyroll Storyworks Will Bring Japanese Creators Into Its Anime and Live-Action Adaptation Work
Crunchyroll, the anime service owned by Sony, has created a new unit named Crunchyroll Storyworks, according to Variety. The division will make adaptations in two forms: anime and live action. Variety reports that the work will be done together with Japan's creative community. For Beverly Hills readers who follow the business of screen storytelling, the new unit's name says what it does: adapting stories for the screen, with Japanese creators involved in the work.
