CBS Adds a Vampire Comedy to Its Lineup With "Eternally Yours"

CBS has a new sitcom, "Eternally Yours," built around vampires sharing a home. The network has not labeled it a companion to "Ghosts," its established hit, but a Variety review finds the two shows working from the same premise: housemates who happen to be undead, played for laughs rather than frights. For the Los Angeles audience that follows broadcast comedy closely, the arrival of a second show in this mold on the same network is the news. Variety's critic describes the result as good-natured, a cousin to "Ghosts" rather than a copy.
